Why do we often ask questions that doesn't have a meaningful answer? Often than not, we ask questions on what a thing is that leads to another question; why?
The answer is simple. Why such things are is simply because it is how the why the what is. Answers to such questions sometimes do not have meaning that in the meaningless of things that answers such question now gives meaning to the meaninglessness of things.
